first this was going to be a blanket (how come I still don’t have an AF’s blanket?) but I’m making these with fine cotton thread and a 2mm hook, so I’m not quite sure what it will be in the end…
Crochet is a time honored tradition. It is something that is passed on through the generations. Granmothers to mothers, Mothers to daughters. It’s a beautiful thing!
Except when your mother has the patience of a 2 year old. I learned this time honored tradition from Youtube. That’s ok though, because of all the crafts I have tried my hand at, I kick the most ass at crochet.
So this is my current project. Something to waste time while I’m watching Dexter and use up some of my extra Vanna’s Choice yarn. While right now it seems like the little crochet square that could, it aspires to someday be THE BIGGEST GRANNY SQUARE ON THE PLANET.
